Bestiary
81 creatures, each with its own model, behaviour and synthesised voice. 13 can be tamed, 3 ridden, and 20 come straight out of Norse myth.
Fenrir
The great wolf. A 320 hit-point boss that roams the frozen fjords and the gloom moors. Taking him down is a repeatable bounty.
Nidhogg
The dragon of the roots. A flying boss with 420 hit points that is called up by a bounty and drops a pair of valkyrie wings.
The Draugr King
Hrafnbjorn, who drank the Rune-Wells dry. He waits on the voidstone ring of Ginnungagap and raises the dead when you come for him.
Ember Warden
Surtr's last smith, guarding the Shard of Verdandi in a forge ringed with lava.
Troll
Eighty hit points and a bad temper after dark. At sunrise it freezes into a stone statue.
Hel-hound
Fast hunters that come in packs of two or three across the gloom moors and the barrow downs.
Valkyrie
A winged warrior who circles overhead. Leave her alone and she leaves you alone.
Nisse
A small farm spirit you can tame. It follows you, sits when told and guards you against monsters.

Ways to play
Survival, on your own
Hearts, hunger, night monsters and the saga. Worlds are saved in your browser or on the handheld's SD card. Playing alone is free and needs no account. There is also a Creative mode with unlimited blocks and flying.
The Seidr World, online
One shared, persistent survival world where everyone spawns at the Seidr Hall, builds and explores together. It needs a free account (a name and a password), so nobody can take your name and the world remembers where you stopped.
Talk to people nearby
Proximity voice chat: hold V and the people close to you hear you, with text chat and quick chat as well. The browser asks for the microphone first, and the microphone is off until you hold the key.
Phone, handheld, computer
The browser version runs on a phone or tablet with touch controls, on a PC with keyboard and mouse, and with a gamepad. A separate download runs on R36S and other ArkOS handhelds.
VR
If your browser supports WebXR, an Enter VR button appears on the play page. It has not been tested on a real headset yet.
A voiced story
9 chapters of the saga of the Rune-Wells, narrated, with a journal that always tells you what to do next.

Questions
Do I need an account?
Only for the shared Seidr World. Playing alone, in your browser or on the handheld, is free and needs no account at all.
Why does the online world need an account?
So that your name belongs to you, nobody can pretend to be you, and the world remembers where you stopped and what you carry, on any device where you sign in.
What does it cost?
Nothing. The game, the browser version and the Seidr World are free.
Where are my worlds saved?
Your own worlds live in your browser's storage, or on the handheld's SD card. Clearing site data in the browser deletes them. The Seidr World is kept on our server.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes, in a current phone browser with touch controls.
Is there a Windows version?
Not at the moment. The browser version is the same game and needs no install.
